A Simple Relaxation

Bring your attention to your breath...a source of rhythm in your body...that fuels all its parts
Together, let’s take three deep breaths….in & out...in & out…in & out
As you breathing out, imagine your exhaled breath forming into a glowing light, in your favorite color...flowing to shimmer around you...
In your minds eye, visualize this light forming a glowing orb that now hovers above your head…it gently drops into your mind and expands into your face…it illuminates your thoughts with peace and comfort...if you feel any tension in your face...gently smile and then relax…
The light now drifts through your neck and into your shoulders...shrug away any discomfort or burden that has been resting there and then release…
The light flows down your arms and into your hands...tense these muscles...ball your hands into a fist and draw up your arms...and then let go...dropping anything you no longer need to carry…
Now place your hands on your heart...direct the light into your chest...notice your breathing...in & out...notice the rise and fall of your stomach...the light brings strength to your core…
The light drifts into your legs and feet...if you notice discomfort...tense these muscles...and then release...you notice how grounded your feet are on the floor…
The light flows from your feet and forms a sphere around you...a safe space...I invite you to imagine a favorite place in which you can experience the relaxation and rest you now feel….
The images you see now dissipates back into the glowing light...the music is coming to an end...
